I can't wait until the New Year to start another book, that would be silly, so I picked up one of my Christmas presents last night. I've been wanting to read this for ages but the price of about £12 for a paperback put me off. That is more than a hardcover! Anyway, I added it to my wishlist and my son obviously thought I was worth it. Love the textured cover, it's not a fingerprint magnet like some books. Integrating the cover art with the title is also pretty clever and the book is lovely and floppy. It has deckled edges as well though they are rather uneven but I'm not a fan of that anyway. If nothing else this is a really aesthetically pleasing book to read. As to the contents, which, after all, is the reason for reading the book in the first place, I can't say much as I am only 22 pages in. So far it seems promising. Here's to a Happy New Year!
