I've been meaning to reread this book for years. When I first read it, I remember it almost made me cry but I can't remember why. So far it seems a little ...misogynistic, shall we say, with Eunice, Johann's secretary being little more than sex on legs. I don't remember picking up on that first time round. It will be interesting to see how it progresses. I really can't recall much about the story other than that it is about a rich man's wish to die by having his brain transplanted in to someone else's body. He knows that it won't work but he is old and hooked up to so much life support equipment that he sees it as his only way out. However, so far it has worked. He has woken up in hospital in someone else's body which he can't feel. Seems like everything has not gone as planned.
